We're back! Smoke & Sow will be open at Rotary Park in downtown Whitehorse starting May 1st 2019. Come and get it!

Smoke & Sow is Yukon's first southern BBQ joint, and we're here in the form of a decked-out food truck. You can find us on the streets of Whitehorse this summer, as well as at various events around the Yukon.

This adventure comes from a love for delicious food. It started right here in Whitehorse, where our founder and chef, Ray Magnuson, was born and raised. Ray developed a love for culinary arts at a young age, and his passion eventually led him and his future wife, Dayna, to Calgary to continue their education.

Ray obtained his Red Seal and worked with several renowned chefs at a handful of fine eateries in Calgary, while always maintaining his obsession for simple, home-style barbeque. He and Dayna were married and eventually found themselves back home in Whitehorse with dreams of opening a restaurant.

After a lot of hard work, the dream became a reality! Smoke & Sow had a fantastic first season in 2018, and we're back again in 2019 to bring you the pulled pork and brisket you craved all winter. You can find Ray, Dayna, and the gang at Rotary Park in downtown Whitehorse all summer, slingin' mouth-watering authentic southern barbeque to the people of this fine city.

Smoke & Sow will be in Rotary Park all summer - smack dab in the middle of Whitehorse. We're open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 to 4, or whenever we sell out. Our meat is smoked for hours and hours, so it's first come first served every day. Once we're out, we're out.

We'll also be traveling around dishing up authentic BBQ at a number of events and festivals throughout the Yukon this summer. Check back here for updates, or follow along on Facebook and Instagram to keep track!
